Knock Knock Heaven 洲子店 — Restaurant in Neihu District

I had some expectation from this place... No way.. Changed three tables, first time coz the weiter asking, second because give as a table in the corner which was very hot, I asked to set the air conditioning a bit cooler, but no response, so I changed table one more time, by myself. Apetizer coming, cold cuts and cheese, nothing special, this kind apetizer can find everywhere in Taipei, especially at hotels, cheap smoked cheese, Australian or US salami, kind of speck, Italian style smoked ham, three ritz cookies and one mg honey, fake ones, I ordered the bread, a bit late, but the pasta arrived before the bread and the apetizer still there, service no asking anything, just throw the plates on the table, no care about the space or anything... I mean guys, you pretend to be kinda shick and modern concept restaurant but you don't have any idea about hospitality and service. Pasta taste like pasta at all the Taipei coffee shops, probably that's about culture, but when cooking pasta the fire can be lower or it will smell like burned oil and wine also need to describe on the menu if pasta have chily, otherwise how we knows??? My GF wanted risotto but didn't had, out of stoke, but we discovered ourselves. One star otherwise cannot...

The French Onion soup has a texture of an applesauce, The Onion is literally chopped/blended in to the soup and as for the piece of cheese is a blob cheese inside the soup 😂 (perhaps, consider Not calling this soup the "French Onion Soup" as that sets certain customers expectation and leading to compare with the real French version...). As for the salads, the greens were average, not as fresh as I would hoped (had a few sloppy & bitter leaves... kind of disappointed). Finally, as for the 南蠻炸雞 ，I would preferred served hot (or on the warmer side) and really thought it's supposed to be skinless/BONELESS yet... I came acrossed something of that sort.... With regards to the price, there is a minimum $500NT per person requirement, yet Google pricing showing "$400 - $600", should have shown as $500+ which is deceptive, in my opinion. This bar/restaurant was really cool. The rooftop area was real nice. It’s a shame that the service was just not where it’s supposed to be. There were 8 of us and we each ordered a drink. It took more than 40 min for all of us to get our drinks. The place wasn’t even packed. And by that time we only had an hour left before closing. After we ordered, they came back 3 times telling us that one of the drinks wasn’t available. I mean you could’ve told us from the beginning which drinks were out instead of coming back and forth 3 times. It just wasn’t professional at all. I wish they can improve on that because this place truly deserves...
