Dong Po Rou (pork) that is braised till the meat and fat were so soft and tender with the meat juices retained in the meat. Man this place is so good, amazing chinese? Taiwanese? Food. All the flavors are so on point and addicting to eat. Must go restaurant in Taiwan. Dishes around $9-12 with medium sized portions.

I enjoyed it so much, I visited thrice more, first time with my then boyfriend, second with him and our AIT friend, and finally, with him and my just-deceased mother. I also ate at their new location in Xinyi twice, but this original location is my absolute favorite as it is the first Chinese nouvelle cuisine restaurant I fell in love with. Digged the chic all-white décor with a lot of greenery artfully hanging on the walls and ceiling. It allowed you to put focus on the food itself, which is what we are supposed to do when dining (although I noticed they had renovated little by little on my subsequent visits, probably to match that of the Xinyi location). Excellent food presented in creative ways. Make sure you leave room in your stomach, because their tiramisu prepared tableside would be a grand finale not to be missed. Generally good...
