PAUL Neihu — Restaurant in Neihu District

Paul was our one of the best place for breakfast or tea time etc. Until last week!Because last week they have changed their concept and became self service . Except that even coffee they give with paper glass. It is not even close to Paul quality we know. Water in paper glass too and the food serving like school lunch meal. I think very soon also food they will give with the plastic plates. Where is the natural friendly people now even at Paul they use more plastic... I believe if they continue like this we will never go to the Paul...

Came for Easter Sunday brunch. The bakery is exactly what you’d expect from a proper French bakery. However the service staff, really not properly representing the company. There’s a surf & turf main course with steak and salmon. When I asked if they could to medium rare or medium for the steak, the staff said “we only do one cook” which is well done. Yet oddly, their well done looks bizarrely medium rare. Which tells me they are at best apathetic. I don’t think this is how company wants to be...

This is my favorite Paul location in Taipei. It’s more spacious, less crowded on weekends and most of all they don’t charge that 10% service charge because it’s semi-self service.

The bakery and the hot food are just as delicious. There’re more discounts and seasonal deals at this location, too. So if you’re looking for a great Boulanger to have a simple western meal and a cup of latte, this place will not...
