Beautiful location, but very poor service so not recommended. This is a lovely looking restaurant with a nice garden. The decor is attractive and when we got the food it was quite good. And they had cute robots. The service was really bad, both in terms of getting meals to us and overall from the staff. It’s not a cheap restaurant so you do expect them to be organized. There were six of us so I didn’t expect the main meals to come at exactly the same time, but between the first main meal arriving and the last main meal getting to our table it was 28 minutes (the time is on my photos).
That’s a issue with the kitchen, but there were some problems with service too. We marked our order on a sheet of paper (a bit odd for a slightly expensive restaurant) , but they forgot to order one of the meals. Half our dirty plates were cleared and they didn’t come back to take the rest, no knives were given, the staff didn’t pay attention to the diners etc etc.
As someone who has worked in hospitality this was frustrating to watch especially as the food itself was quite nice and presented well. It feels like both the kitchen and servers need basic training. Maybe we were unlucky, but based on the experience we wouldn’t come back and it’s sad to say that since it...
Read moreTo echo what others have said, this restaurant has nicely appointed decor and bad overall service. We came at opening, so there were only two occupied tables for the entire place. Despite this, our dishes came slowly, starting 30 minutes after we ordered. The hamburger took over 40 minutes. The Bak Kuh Teh flavor was more herbal than the Singaporean version but overall good. The robot was cute but pointless, as the waitress still had to come by to unload it. Multiple items pictured in the menu were not available. The smoked salmon salad was a bit stingy with the salmon and egg; it consisted mostly of a salad pack. Disappointing...
Read moreThe Linkou (MITSUI OUTLET PARK II) restaurant has large curved floor-to-ceiling windows, which let in natural light and give people a bright and fresh feeling. If consumers want to sit in the first row of the restaurant, they must arrive before the opening of the day and queue up. During the meal, they look at the blue sky and green scenery outside the window and feel very happy. For the main meal, you can upgrade to a super set meal for an additional $200. Or you can add appetizers, salads,...
