Dian Shui Lou — Restaurant in New Taipei

We came Mitsui for shopping, and drop by this restaurant as it has least queue. Environment is clean and not too cramp. We ordered number of classic food. Beef noodle, although nt690 but the soup tasted very good and worth it, very big pieces of meat with tendon, very soft and properly cooked. The lily vege is also cooked very nicely, with 枸杞 and mushroom, very fresh and sweet The infamous 小龙包 indeed tasted much better than it's competitors, especially Taiwan most famous DTF. The skin is thinner, meat soup tasted much fresher. The classic braise pork with bun and vege is among the best, taste is not too oily which usually makes one feel fed up, but this is "tuned" so nicely that one piece is never enough. 油葱饼 and 萝卜饼 are also quite tasty, juicy and sweet. Overall it is pricey but food are really delicious, good for little snack 点心 or a meal 正餐....

It's a dim-sum restaurant serves different types of dumpling. Went there for afternoon tea buffet. Better order xiao-long-bao only, Waiter will offer you a set of everything but it'll be too much for 2 girls/a couple with small appetite. Not everything is great. Sweet and desserts were not really tasty. Restaurant looks great. Suggestions: order what you need, Do not pay big price...

This restaurant serves dumplings and Hong Kong style cuisines and dishes. It is a bit pricey for what you get but it was good and worth the try.
