We came here after we ate at 1010 at Xingyi. Overall, the food quality and quantity here were better than the one at Xingyi. The sitting area was roomier and the staff was more attentative here as well.
Though mostly sane or better than other 1010 Hunan Cuisine, but the hot pot tofu with pork intestines was far superior. We actually could see a large quantity of intestines with our naked eyes. This location has better food that the one near Taipei 101. However, the stewed pork belly was fair, not great, so we won’t order that one again. The ongchoi, stir-fried potato strips, pine nut beef, Hunan spicy chicken and spicy beef pot were okay and nothing special. The egg omelette with minced pork and (non-spicy) peppers was the top dish today.
The two desserts were refreshing, yet not overly sweet.
The worst dish of the day was its clay pot shrimps. At least 5 shrimps were not deveined and all of them lacked any flavor.
