Dhaka Indian Kitchen (HALAL) — Restaurant in New Taipei

First visit: The food tastes okay, food took around 30 mins to arrive, price was reasonable since they had a 20% off discount during the time. Chicken tasted fine while lamb was a bit dry, Rate 3-4 stars. Second visit: Ordered this NT$245 chicken masala and NT$20 rice, took 1 hr to arrive, only had four small pieces of chicken. Thought it was overpriced for the portion and the curry itself tasted fine while the meat was a bit burned on the outside. Rate 2 stars. Third visit: Had their NT$190 business lunch set which included chicken curry, rice, salad, and milk tea. The curry tasted fine, rice portion was enough, salad was a bit too salty, milk tea a bit too sweet and lacked spices. Also ordered NT$230 minced lamb with peas curry. The portion size for this curry is much more reasonable and tasted fine. I was a bit surprised that the meat was chopped from big chunks of lamb, as I expected the meat to be minced, however, I didn’t mind....

Food: Hyderabad Lamb Briyani Taste: 5 stars. Fluffy briyani rice, soft and juicy mutton. Quantity was a lot for 1 pax. Briyani was authentic

Food:Vegetable Pakoda Taste: 4 star. Too crispy since it kinda over cooked. Came with mint sauce and sweet sauce. Both were tasty and authentic

Food:Sweet Lassi Taste: sweetness was just right but was abit too watery compared to the sweet lassi from India and Singapore

Ambience: 5 stars. Clean, well maintained. Soft Bollywood songs playing in the background. Utensils, table and chairs in top notch condition

Price: 4 stars not too expensive felt it was reasonable compared to other Indian restaurants in Taipei

Overall it was one of the best food in Taiwan. Very near to the airport also. 3 stops away only. Definitely will recommend...

I visited there during lunch time. I ordered a mutton meal set($210) and my buddy ordered a beef set($210). Both include rice, milk tea and side dishes.

Both are delicious. I also ordered a naan ($45). You can’t miss it with curry !

It’s highly suggested to allow customers to pay the price difference to change the rice as naan. It’s duplicate and too full.

The milk tea is so rich and yummy. Environment is also clean, cozy and well decorated. It’s also nice to bring your customers for a commercial lunch “.
