Read some good reviews on the internet so decided to come with a friend. I'm vegetarian and there is only one dish I can choose from the brunch menu. Couldn't order anything from the lunch menu. And they were unwilling to accommodate my dietary needs. In the end, I got the onion and bacon scrambled eggs and asked them to take out the bacon.
My friend ordered a chicken sandwich. He doesn't eat bacon so we asked what's in the chicken sandwich. They said it came with a fruit salad. So we thought ok. When our food came, there were strips of bacon in there.
Overall, the service was poor considering there were only two other tables dining at the same time. At times, there were not a single person at the counter/bar. Waited for a long time for them to take our order. Also waited for a long time to receive our food.
Chicken sandwich was $299 Scrambled eggs was also $299 I'd rather eat at the Diners for...
Read moreThe worst service experience ever! The English menu prices are not up to date and we were not notified. I ordered dessert and the waitress suggested paying for the combos. But when I went to choose dessert, there were only 2 options. The waitress was very rude. I was there with some friends and when we were waiting for a waiter on the second floor to order more drinks, they told us that we had to leave because they were going to clean the second floor, so we asked if we could move to the first floor. After 5 minutes wait, we were told that it was ok and when we moved downstairs and order they told us they were no longer taking orders. The strange thing is that on this page, the closing time is 10 pm. The way they served us was rude. It's the worst service experience I've had here in Taiwan. ahh, also the plates are small and expensive for...
Read moreThis is a decent (a bit overpriced) eatery featuring a Taiwanese take on Western(?) gourmet. We came in on a Monday afternoon and were seated quickly. The menu is in Chinese. The restaurant uses a QR-Code ordering system. We ordered the 2-person set @$1399. This included a salad of our choice (salad with beef slices 3/5), an appetizer of our choice (cheese fries with meat sauce 5/5), 2 entrees of our choice (a beef shoulder Taiwanese satay 沙茶 cream sauce pasta (3/5) and a peanut butter croissant beef burger with ham 2/5), two drinks (freshly squeezed kiwi juice (4/5) and an Oreo shake 4/5), and a cake of our choice (matcha crepe cake (4/5). Overall, the best item was the cheese fries with meat sauce. I would hesitate to recommend this restaurant as the value for money and taste is on...
