My-Viet Eatery — Restaurant in New Taipei

Been here a couple times because food is pretty good and authentic but service has always been hit and miss. Lately, it seems to be getting worse, cleanliness is suffering—dirty tables aren’t being cleaned right away and flies can be seen in the restaurant. Servers are getting more and more careless; they keep forgetting what we ordered or our orders will come incomplete (missing sides/sauces, forget to provide utensils, etc.) and sometimes we get food we didn’t even ask for. I love Vietnamese food. This place is okay. I have some doubt on the authenticity of the food. I tried the pho several times, and I don’t think the restaurant used the right kind of noodle and the right kind of broth...tasted a bit off. Tried other dishes such as grilled wings or the braised beef, I don’t think those are as authentic as I like it to be. Service is okay, mostly students working there part-time. If you're looking for pho that is similar to the US, this is the only place in Taiwan that I have found after trying countless shops. The pho noodles here are thin and it comes with sriracha sauce.
