Bao Bao Bao — Restaurant in Shilin District

We got to this restaurant when they just opened and were seated at 11:30. However, until 12:20 we still haven’t got all our 5 dishes on the table.

They told us it’s because they have lots of take out orders even before we came. I guess this is a restaurant for taking out but not dining in.

Average food, terrible speed. (or say strategy ?) Not the best bang...

This restaurant is very busy. You will want to call and reserve ahead of time. They've got a huge menu with a lot of items. Some highlights for me were the fried pork ribs in the honey sauce. Horrible service. Not recommend for walk-in customers since your first dish won’t serve for the first hour. This restaurant prefer reserved it’s quicker this way. Dishes are salty and heavy seasoning. Not good for kids for high sodium level but...
