My family and I had a delightful stay at this hotel. From the moment we stepped into our room, we were impressed by its spaciousness and brightness. The balcony overlooking the serene neighborhood was a lovely touch, and we relished opening the sliding doors each morning to welcome in the fresh air, opting to turn off the AC. The decision to use laminate flooring throughout instead of carpet was a smart one, contributing to a cleaner and more modern feel. The generously sized bathroom, with its separate shower and toilet areas, was another highlight. The ventilation system, complete with a 'cold hair drying' function, was particularly noteworthy, ensuring our towels remained dry and the room remained free of stuffiness. While some areas of the common spaces still sported older carpeting, we were informed that the carpet was in the process of being renewed. The breakfast spread was a definite highlight for both my husband and me. From the comforting congee accompanied by an array of side dishes to the steamed yams and flavorful braised pork, there was something to tantalize every palate. The variety of egg dishes, stir-fried vegetables sourced from local farms, steamed buns, and fresh fruits ensured that each morning brought a delightful culinary experience. The absence of milk was a minor inconvenience, but the inclusion of warm soybean milk compensated for it adequately. We found ourselves looking forward to breakfast each day during our 8-day stay. I have to say, my husband and I enjoyed the breakfast more than our kids.
The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. The hotel's location, with a bus stop conveniently situated right in front, made exploring Taipei a breeze. We appreciated the easy access to various attractions and transportation hubs, including malls, the baseball stadium, MRT stations, and museums like the Astronomy Science Museum and Palace Museum. Additionally, the recently renovated Tianmu Park, just a 5-minute walk away, provided a perfect retreat for our children.
In summary, our experience at this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on future visits to Taipei. I wholeheartedly recommend it to families seeking a tranquil, quiet, and comfortable...
Read moreThe whole hotel smells like the toilet. Also for the breakfast you have to share table with strangers. So many things we want to talk about. I do like the concept of Mellow but now I am disappointed ☹️ You can clearly hear the neighbours and upstairs the material is not soundproof at all! Also 35minutes for walking to the subway station.
Really not satisfied with the service. First, when we checked in they didn’t give us the QR code for free parking. My husband realized and came back to get a QR code. Second, when we checked in they give us the last room down the hall way, near a not tightly closed window, really cold. My husband told the front desk it was too cold and we were changed to another room. Third, we ordered a delivery at night around 10 and we don’t know whether it should be sent to our room or front desk. We called the front desk and as soon as we told her we had a delivery she immediately said we have to pick up downstairs they would not send it to the room. We never thought about having them send the delivery! The attitude is not kind. Fourth, when we took the shower we found there was no hair conditioner. We called the front desk they told us “we don’t have that”. It is fine they don’t have it just the attitude is really indifferent. Room is clean but so small for a 4 star level. There are holes on our sheet. The king size bed is two single beds together. I can accept the size and bed just the service is not acceptable as a reputable hotel. We have travelled around Taiwan and stayed for more than 7 hotels.Here...
