A Cheng Beef Noodle Restaurant — Restaurant in Shuili Township

I have eaten at this place a few times since I've been back to Taiwan. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for some good local comfort food. Now, It is not uncommon to find great tasting local food in Taiwan; however, it is hard to find one that is bright, clean with comfortable restaurant style seating and of course GOOD FOOD. Not sure what the one star review is all about. The person that left the review must not be familiar with Taiwan or local Taiwanese restaurants. It is very common for popular restaurants to run out of popular items because items are freshly prepared daily and not left in the fridge/freezer for days at a time. AHHHHHHHHHHHH nothing beats fresh food made daily and I certainly don't mind the occasional inconvenience. Beware, this place closes when it feels like it so hours display here not dependable. In addition ask if the dish is available first because for some reason, the popular stuff always sold out before 6pm such beef ( yes a beef noodle shop apparently can be on low stock of "beef") and dumplings can be sold out before 6 as well. On our way to Renai, we stopped by Shuili and simply searched for fried rice and beef noodles. We’re so glad we found this restaurant! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. This was hands down the best place where I had the most amazing meals during my trip to Taiwan.
