慕時食飲空間 — Restaurant in Taichung

The restaurant is small and cozy. It’s an open kitchen area on the first floor with bar seating and other tables on the second floor. The portion sizes were good and we were definitely full. The spicy chicken was delicious especially the sauce was special, different from other restaurants but also spicy. The pasta and beef was nice, beef was cooked well and tender. Could have been good with more cheese or egg yolk, I thought. The potatoes were crispy and felt like more seasoning would be better. The chicken skewers were really plain… you can find almost anywhere so not that special. The rice ball was not cooked that well as it should have had a crispy outer crust, instead was just soft and soggy. There isn’t that many seats so it might feel a bit cramped. The only negative experience for us is that when we asked the staff if we can move to a bigger more spacious table upstairs, they gave us a really hard time (but the restaurant was empty and there were plenty seats) So we thought the service could have...

The drinks was average, nothing too impressive to mention but wasn't bad either. Drinks was average for what they cost.

Food was presented well and had strong flavors. Good quality food.

However, the food took a while to arrive at the table. We waited about 30min for mains to arrive...
