Amazing 63 — Restaurant in Taichung

My friends told me about this coffee shop. They are coffee connoisseurs and said it was the best cappuccino they ever had so when we happened to be in the area, we stopped by the coffee shop to give it a try. It really is a fantastic cappuccino I’ve ever had. It had a great balance of milk and coffee (not too milky). The cappuccino was very smooth and easy to drink. I would have had another cup but I already drank 2 cups of coffee in the morning.

update : we went back to Amazing 63 the next day. When we were there, a girl was doing Tarot cards reading with another girl at the table. I really think they should NOT do this at a coffee shop, people go there to have a nice quiet coffee and relax - I would also think the girl they were giving a reading to would not want the whole world to know about her "supposed future" (please do that in the privacy of your home). Because of this, I removed 1 star for the EVIL atmosphere they allowed in the coffee shop (yeah it was a bit freaky to see people doing this in the coffee shop...and they weren't drinking...

My wife and I were looking for a good coffee shop that served pour-over coffee. The coffee shops clustered together weren't very appealing, but Amazing 63 stood out.

Walking in, we didn't find pour over, but a one-of-a-kind Italian espresso shop and a passionate barista/owner. We were ready to walk out, but the owner convinced us to try his espresso.

We ordered a latte and cappuccino, not knowing what to expect, as we're pour-over coffee drinkers, and were pleasantly surprised how deliciously smooth and creamy they were. The owner really impressed us with his skill to craft such a beverage.
