Dante Coffee — Restaurant in Taichung

If you’re just coming here for a good coffee, this ain’t the place.

The staff aren’t friendly: We accidentally spilled some of our coffee on the table and we politely asked the staff to help to wipe the table, instead we got an irritating stare from the staff before we could get a good wipe. The service staff at the counter wasn’t a good one either. We stood at the counter wanting to order for our drinks for a good 5 mins before the staff could attend to us, during that 5 mins the staff was just at the side using her phone while we are waiting at the counter, there were also two other customers queuing behind us.

The coffee shop inside Donghai University locates in a hidden place behind trees and club office building. It is popular with students and staff that even on holiday many young customers would gather inside. There is no restroom, so one has to go down to the club office building or go up to the restaurant for washroom. The simple meal and coffee they make are nice!
