Meizi Huo Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Taichung

A favourite place for family gathering for many years. This place is run by brothers who fish their own seafood and then preparing it, which means the freshest seafood you can get your hands on. In recent years, they've been awarded Michelin status and had gotten even busier then usual. Make sure you make a booking ahead of time or miss having a seat. It gets really packed and frequent by the locals.

This is a wonderful restaurant in Shalu, Taichung, run by a family for over 30 years, serving fabulous lobster sashimi, exquisite Three Cup Penghu Grouper (best Three Cup anything, ever!), marvelous shrimp fried rice, yummy crab with roe, scrumptious giant baked cheesy prawn, totally delicious salted pork belly, fragrant lobster soup, and many other dishes. The owner is charming and knowledgeable, and this place is definitely worth a trip...

我是小葵，每個人口味都不相同，要求也不同。走過十幾國四五十個城市的旅人，也是餐飲服務的老師與秘密客評審。評分很謹慎，不喜歡吃我通常不評分，因為每個家庭生長背景不同，無法給分，但，如果環境不優不友善，那一定是會標示出來。其他皆是我覺得不錯才能推薦。這次來到米其林推薦餐廳🍴自然會用比較高標準看待。

因為被入選為米其林餐廳🍴所以過來享受美食自然也會抱著高期待，加上不便宜的價格，自然會用高標準來看待與要求。

這次吃完心得，米其林推薦的餐廳，參考就好了。已經多次有踩雷跡象。😰 梅子餐廳可以試試，以他們訂價還是有踩雷情況。 我們從外地來沙鹿，尋找餐廳🍴看到梅子有獲選米其林餐廳，來嚐鮮。 點菜人員應是老闆，很俐落，會推薦，也熱情打招呼🙋期間來了三次詢問味道。 服務員是很年輕的女孩，身材臉蛋都不錯、是男生們不會責罵類型🤭但已服務來說當然尚可。一進門搞不清要先代位或是先拿菜單，沒有程序標準，有點搓手不及，來收盤子手裡還握著衛生紙，在服務上可能細節與標準都還能再加強。 不知道為何不能拍菜單。菜單有一半以上都是時價，我很怕這種餐廳我完全不會點。尤其是來到不熟悉的地方很沒安全感。

1、點菜推薦的醬燒軟絲。醬的味道不錯，但是一尾四百多，小條了一點。薑是有點冷的，不熱這道菜熱的不完全。其實我看過有的店家出菜前會檢查溫度。

2、麻油腰子。這道我反而大推400元。很好吃，跟外面味道比就是更上層次一些，醬汁也很好。

3、XO蝦仁炒飯。200元。非常不喜歡，很勉強吃完，一般是加蛋酥，他們好像有加豆皮酥，整個不酥，好像擱置時間都軟了，整個炒飯很乾，沒有什麼XO醬，蝦都縮掉，跟圖片完全不符。外面炒飯比較好吃。

4、蒜味蚵仔羹。完全不愛。料很不錯喔，豐盛。但味道真的不行✋沒什麼味道 用醋或胡椒好像都救不起來。😮‍💨

5、炒娃娃菜200元。豐盛、好吃、很好吃。比羹好吃太多了。
