佳味庭美食餐館 — Restaurant in Tainan

The staff is friendly but the owner is super rude. Actually, this was the worse dining experience in all my life and in Taiwan also. We are a group of 2 girls (Vietnamese) having lunch in their restaurant because it’s close to our Dorm in NCKU. We entered around 12:00pm and when we are eating (about 12:23 pm), he approached our table and want to cleaning up our tables, he complained that because we ate for so a long time and the rental for this location is so expensive. If so, he can’t make a profit. (There are three tables only at that time but he only told us, the diner was not crowded either) He keep letting us to go out even we haven’t finish our lunch yet. He even said he can return us money and the next time we should not come. He also emphasized “Taiwanese is Taiwanese” Actually, a normal Taiwanese is not rude as him. Food ok but nothing special. The worst part of the whole experience was a few minutes after my food arrived I was busy dealing with something on my phone, the “boss” came to me and told me to hurry up, it was closing in an hour. I was charging my phone which he noticed and shouted “no”. I’m a slow eater and he didn’t like that, he came back about 15 minutes later and told me to hurry up and leave. The worst service of the many hundreds of restaurants I’ve been to in Taiwan. Ridiculous attitude of the boss - seems keen for you to leave before finishing the food, never mind loitering for a couple minutes after in an otherwise empty business.
