Everything you want in an Indian restaurant in Taiwan and more. They have all your basics covered, but not as long a list of different curries as some other Indian restaurants…but hear me out, they knock it out of the park when it comes to flavor, not sure if they are growing their own spices local while other are waiting for them to be shipped over, but whatever they are doing the flavors are a cut above the competition! Something in their food makes the flavors jump off the food and right into your very soul! The bread is fluffy and chewy without being under cooked, highly recommend the garlic chili nan. Not often is the upscale on nan worth but this one is. (Ended up doing a second order because I think I have a borderline new addiction) Good portions, decorated enough to give it an Indian vibe, without overshadowing the true star of the show which is the food! Prompt l, polite, and helpful staff. How this place doesn’t have a line out the door still has me baffled. Will say however that the lighting is a bit too low, hard to do the food justice in pictures. If you don’t live near by then sucks to be you, take a scooter, bus, train, plane, mrt, or HSR to try this spot out. If not then just resign yourself to merely adequate Indian restaurants, it’s probably better for you to...
Read moreWe come here to celebrate the CNY. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and attentive service. The staff made sure we felt comfortable and took the time to recommend some of their best dishes. The restaurant’s ambiance, with its rich aromas of spices and cozy decor, immediately set the stage for a delightful evening.
We indulged in a variety of authentic Indian dishes, each bursting with flavor. The butter chicken was creamy and perfectly spiced, while the tandoori chicken had a smoky, charred aroma that left us wanting more. The naan bread, fresh from the oven, paired wonderfully with the flavorful curries. To top it off, the mango lassi was a refreshing treat that balanced the rich spices of our meal and that’s my kid’s favorite.
Thanks for the great hospitality....
