From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Katie at the check-in counter. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, clearly explaining the locations of the breakfast area, swimming pool, gym, and the quick check-out box. She even informed us about our room's facing direction, adding a thoughtful touch to our check-in experience.

The hotel lobby exudes elegance—grand, spotless, and inviting. Accessing our Premier King Room was seamless with the key card-enabled lift. The room itself was thoughtfully arranged with a unique design: the basin outside, while the shower and toilet were in separate rooms, making it convenient for multiple guests to use the facilities at the same time. A standout feature was the Hitachi air purifier, ensuring fresh and clean air throughout our stay.

The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. Convenient charging ports and power outlets were available, though toiletries and bottled water were not provided (however, filtered water was easily accessible just outside our room).

Housekeeping was excellent—when I couldn’t reach the front desk via the in-room phone "8" (first time hotel front desk no one pick up during daytime need big improvement ! a lots of complaints in reviews but how come no improvement until today) to request an extra pillow, I easily found a staff member nearby who promptly arranged and delivered it to our room. Their attentiveness and efficiency were much appreciated.

The restaurant staff and food were wonderful, enhancing our overall experience. Even the main entrance staff stood out with their patience and willingness to answer all our questions.

Overall, Lakeshore Hotel Tainan fully deserves its 2024 Best Hotel in Tainan award. With its outstanding service, well-designed rooms, and excellent amenities, we highly recommend it to anyone...

The location is great. The room has a view, but the interior is a bit old and the maintenance needs to be improved. The bathroom shower and bathtub are not together, and there is a sink counter in the middle. It is a very unprofessional design.

The cleanliness also needs to be improved, the Wi-Fi connection is not good, the TV only has MOD to watch but few channels and no movies. The two bedside lamps could only be controlled from one side of the bed.

It was said that bottled mineral water was not provided in order to comply with environmental protection, so forget it. There is no toothbrush or shower cap in the room, so you have to go to the lobby to get it yourself. The counter also said that if you take it, you will automatically give up the purchase of additional breakfast. 15% off. In addition, the counter said that these items were placed on the table in front of the pillar opposite the counter from 7 to 9 pm. It did not give tourists a chance to visit Tainan city at night and have to rush back just to get a shower cap. It was very Terrible accommodation experience, really different from other LakeShore Hotels.

After checking out, I moved my luggage to the underground parking lot and prepared to board the car. There was a small truck delivering towels parked very close to the side, less than 1 foot away. It was so crowded that I couldn't open the door to load the luggage. The hotel's cooperation with the vendors was also terrible. stay away...

There’s really not much to complain about this hotel for the price point.

Great location- located within few minutes of walk from mall, convenience stores and silk place hotel.

Friendly staffs- check in/out was a breeze, courteous and helpful staffs!

Fast elevators- six elevators from lobby to the top floor. No need to wait 10 minutes for an elevator!

Free parking- free for hotel guests & plenty of parking spaces.

Spacious guest rooms- as you walk into the room the sink is separated from toilet & shower so you can wash your hands while someone is showering or using a toilet. The toilet also has this great toilet paper holder where you can place some personal items on it without having to put it on the floor or so while doing your business. The room has mini fridge & water kettle for guests to use with drinks in the fridge at no extra charge. Bed is quite comfortable with a lot of counter spaces for your luggages and personal items.

Didn’t get to enjoy its pool, gym & brunch during this stay so I can’t comment on that.

Since this is a four star hotel I will give it a 5 star review but there’s still some minor improvements on housekeeping - 1) moldy silicone lining along glass shower door. 2) moldy anti slip shower pad. 3) water stains on shower head holder & windows looking out the window.

Overall a comfy stay here a Lakeshore Tainan, would be happy to...

The hotel is pretty new and running the business in August 2019. This is my first time to stay in this hotel. My room number is 1311, and I stay on 22 October 2020. I choose the promotion case for one night with two meals. According it's a new hotel, so the hardware is good. But only the sound of the fighter is noisy to me because it under the channel of flight that you can understand why on the google map. I always like to enjoy in a public large spring pool, but I feel not comfortable in there. I feel not comfortable because of the person who some of the sports club's members. I thought when you enter the spring pool that you should take a bath at first and keep quiet as it is a regular rule in a public spring pool. When I stand on the gateway drinking my water, I saw an elder open the door, and he put down his towel on the cabinet and try to enter the pool without bathing. So I remind him to take a bath first, but he replies to me that I am the members of the hotel, I do my way that is not your business. When he enters the pool, so I decided to leave, but I how bad luck for me that I meet the ender again on the night. This time he has the same situation without bathing and loudly talks to other members who do the push-up on the side of the pool. What a classic of the members of the sports club in the hotel I never meet!!

Review updated to 3-Stars: while I remain truly disappointed with the hotel for not mentioning anywhere on the Expedia listing that the outdoor pool isn't heated in the winter time, and still feel that the absence of such a declaration is intentionally dishonest, the hotel manager Joseph offered us access to the executive lounge to make up for it. While I still feel that this was inadequate to prevent me from being a strong detractor of this hotel, I would be remiss to not mention that the rest of the staff that I encountered were very nice and pleasant to deal with. The room itself was pretty dusty and in need of air filter replacement and a deep cleaning. Overall, regardless of the lack of a heated pool, I still feel that this hotel is not worth the money. The executive lounge is pretty nice and the coffee available to guests with access is exquisite. Original 2-Star review: Booked this hotel specifically for the swimming pool. They confirmed it's open year round. Arrived at the pool. First idiotic rule is that I need a bathing cap. My hair is 1/2 inch long. Went and checked the pool, since it's 18°C outside right now to see if it's heated. It isn't. So the water is basically hypothermic temperature. What a waste of money this hotel was. Just close your pool outside of the summer season if it's not heated.
