Yi Ge Niu Rou Tang — Restaurant in Tainan

Now I know why this restaurant is very famous. Truly, they offer delicious beef meals! ❤

I ate here on a Saturday afternoon to avoid waiting for a table as this restaurant is one of the most popular eateries in Tainan. When I entered, I immediately smelled the stinky tofu but it went away after a few minutes. Maybe my nose got accustomed to the smell. 😂

The staff at the counter was very nice. I ordered the beef soup, minced beef rice, beef burrito, and wintermelon tea.

I loved the beef burrito. The bread was very tasty. I think it absorbed the juice of the beef very well. The beef soup and minced beef rice tasted very nice together as the minced beef had a very sweet and salty taste which was balanced by the light taste of the soup. The wintermelon drink was so-so. Good enough to cleanse my palate.

They also have free side dishes. I really liked the salty cabbage with nutty taste.

Overall, I think this is a good restaurant to taste...

This is an excellent beef 🥩 soup restaurant that is a specialty of Tainan. Freshly slaughtered warm bodied cattle are prepared daily each morning and they are served in delicious soup. As soup is not stewed it tastes slightly different from beef 🥩 consommé. For beef 🥩 lovers this taste is familiar and yet unique as it captures the beefiness of soup and yet without the other notes from long boiled soup. I recommend this for all ardent beef 🥩 and steak lovers. It is out of this world. You can order their Korean kimchi which is absolutely amazing and other side dishes. Most are good or excellent. This restaurant deserves a special mention as it is 24 hours and you can park for free for 2 hours if you spend above 300 NTD. Parking is located nearby but the spaces...

My local friend brought me to this amazing beef restaurant. I have no idea what she has ordered but everything tastes extremely delicious. My favourite is the fried beef with veggie and the soup which is their famous dish. My dear friend also bought me the beef jerky, it also tastes very tender and yummy.
