bearing in mind it was lunch

was preceded by Foodpanda pickup followed by Lalamove (big order -- 6 meals) & ubiquitous Uber + an assortment of flipflopped locals who breezed in, grabbed a couple of pre-mades & waved off cutlery with a shake off the head

the place was bumping

everyone hooked on healthy -- hopped on the electric bandwagon

note the groceries, the healthy eating monthly food journal & plan in booklet form with a plug for yoga place

note the monitor to silently hype you & temper your expectations

note the monthly healthy eating / cooking book at 1/2 price

& this is but the prologue

we haven't even gotten to the artery-lovers -- the stars of this Bento & Smoothie show :

the protein -- for the bro the bruh the bruv looking to make gains the right way

the greens -- for the people who want to poop

the fruit -- for the meal in a cup or that little kick i like at end of meal

not terribly famished -- hadn't biked (cool bike shop round the corner) hadn't gymed (cool gym round the corner)

so i tomato 🍅 cheese 🧀 salad 🥗 my way to the cash adding in the berry smoothie 🥤 though did not need cause the greens were fresh as can be (but not soggy so were well-spun before packaging -- & not a blemish, not a rot, not a molecule that wasn't a green) & bursting with that which gives life 💧

it's easy to see why regulars would swing by ponder not a whit swipe a few salads & bolt

excellent quality control healthy to please a gym rat or a health nut

& tasty tomato & cheese both delivered & the dressing (1 of 4) was pleasing & adding without overwhelming

chicken have it your way of 4 ways healthy

cheerful staff who expedite from an efficient work flow

no bump or hiccup on the line -- even when busy

it's so much better than Subway -- that Jared debacle & least healthy (among subs) & least profitable of chains (cheap to start, doesn't make a cent -- go watch Last Week Tonight on this)

instead invest in oft oft good eats

& diet & train with their meal preps

get this delivered to your quarantine suite -- for i swear the Lalamove guy gave off i'm grabbing meals for inmates vibe

This was to be honest the worst dining experience I’ve had on my trip in Taipei. It looked promising and they tried in many ways, but nevertheless it was disappointing.

To start, the ordering and paying system is not clear. We ordered on our phones but then it said to pay at the desk, and they directed us to the phone again. Once paid and seated, they came back to say that they did not have some of the food we ordered, but they offered some replacement ingredients.

In the end, the food was cold and tasteless, the meat was not heated up properly and rubbery. The smoothies were completely watered down.

The atmosphere was not so cozy, staff and delivery people walking in and out and the waiters seem too young to take their jobs seriously.

I came here hoping to eat a fresh, healthy and nutritious meal, but left...

Very poor service and ill attitude. Disrespectful and non-communicable owner. The owner gave off a very arrogant attitude and the energy is just off. It was not just that the food is very bad and the portion is extremely small, when you have questions about the bad food you ordered, the way the responded makes you feel they think you are the originator of the problems. It’s not just how they you feel the meal is definitely overpriced, you also walk out feeling your dignity is ripped off. It was honestly my worst shopping experience in Taipei and def ranked my the worst customer experience globally… never experienced any customer interaction this horrible. This was my very first one-star...

先說結論:對於有錢的健康需求者,可以到4.6顆星。 週二,一個平凡無奇的工作日, 平凡無奇的開啟那萬惡的Uber eats, 看了種類繁多,且照片拍得不錯的食物, 選了一份了現煎蒜香迷迭香板腱便當。 出餐速度,不快不慢, 就像我對餐點的期待,不高不低, 「畢竟這種健康便當,雷的店實在太多。」我心想。 直到便當送到的那刻, 質感的盒裝就像提醒著我:「這餐不便宜喔。」 因此,我也抱著「這不是一般便當」的心情, 仔細地品嚐、並於餐後給出適當的評價。 吃便當先吃飯,是對店家最基本的測試, 紫米飯,偏硬,但香氣及格,算是有用心煮,或用料不錯, 第一口,印象還算優良, 第二口,就該直攻靈魂主角:主菜。 板腱牛,選料與煎攻配合的恰到好處, 柔嫩、多汁、肉味適中, 蒜味的調配掩飾了便當級牛肉在香氣上先天的不足, 就算因為外送稍微冷掉,依然可以反推剛上餐的美味, 「這塊牛肉,可以」我彷彿聽到味蕾這樣回應著。 不過,健康便當的通病來了, 少鹽少油料理,其實不代表蔬菜類就該沒有味道, 高麗菜也不是說給很多菜梗、有生水味才叫健康。 你知道嗎,就算是健身或減肥者,就算吃健康便當, 還是會奢求著,拜託給我吃到好吃到不行的便當 (尤其是價格偏高的店家們), 這樣的渺小願望,真希望每個標榜健康的店家都能聽見。 「你很好吃,但你還是不懂我。」 所以我只給你4.6顆星,如果配菜好吃一點,就完美了。

先說結論:對於有錢的健康需求者,可以到4.6顆星。 週二,一個平凡無奇的工作日, 平凡無奇的開啟那萬惡的Uber eats, 看了種類繁多,且照片拍得不錯的食物, 選了一份了現煎蒜香迷迭香板腱便當。 出餐速度,不快不慢, 就像我對餐點的期待,不高不低, 「畢竟這種健康便當,雷的店實在太多。」我心想。 直到便當送到的那刻, 質感的盒裝就像提醒著我:「這餐不便宜喔。」 因此,我也抱著「這不是一般便當」的心情, 仔細地品嚐、並於餐後給出適當的評價。 吃便當先吃飯,是對店家最基本的測試, 紫米飯,偏硬,但香氣及格,算是有用心煮,或用料不錯, 第一口,印象還算優良, 第二口,就該直攻靈魂主角:主菜。 板腱牛,選料與煎攻配合的恰到好處, 柔嫩、多汁、肉味適中, 蒜味的調配掩飾了便當級牛肉在香氣上先天的不足, 就算因為外送稍微冷掉,依然可以反推剛上餐的美味, 「這塊牛肉,可以」我彷彿聽到味蕾這樣回應著。 不過,健康便當的通病來了, 少鹽少油料理,其實不代表蔬菜類就該沒有味道, 高麗菜也不是說給很多菜梗、有生水味才叫健康。 你知道嗎,就算是健身或減肥者,就算吃健康便當, 還是會奢求著,拜託給我吃到好吃到不行的便當 (尤其是價格偏高的店家們), 這樣的渺小願望,真希望每個標榜健康的店家都能聽見。 「你很好吃,但你還是不懂我。」 所以我只給你4.6顆星,如果配菜好吃一點,就完美了。
