難吃 NAN CHU 2019 — Restaurant in Taipei

A spontaneous “beef noodles” search on Google Maps led us to this inconspicuous hole-in-a-wall. Located just a couple of steps away from the Taipower Building train station, it’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention.

We opted to dine in and was pleasantly surprised by the efficiently designed space, which was able to humbly house eight, and found ourselves treated to an immersive experience of eclectic ambient music.

Their classic beef noodles (130NTD) was everything I wanted in a bowl — soft and delectable beef slices, perfectly textured QQ noodles, and soup so delicious I couldn’t bear to leave a drop behind. The cherry on top: tasty accompanying self-serve condiments (chili and sour vegetables) that completed the five-star meal.

一點也不難吃！I pass by this place daily and grabbed a menu to study at home. What made me try it was the name of the place, it made me chuckle. The beef noodle soup is delicious, very simple but the beef is meaty and tender. Noodles are fresh and chewy. Soup very flavorful. They make it to order so takes at least 10 minutes.
