CAT.jpg cafe — Restaurant in Taipei

My recent visit to Cafe CAT.jpg with my younger sister turned out to be an exceptionally disappointing experience, leaving us both disheartened and uncomfortable.

As we entered the modest establishment, we were met with a frosty reception from the male waiter, whose disinterested gaze and lack of greeting left us feeling unwelcome and unworthy of attention. Stranded in the entryway, we felt an awkward chill settle over us as our presence appeared to go unnoticed, with no effort made to attend to our needs.

The disheartening apathy of the staff, particularly the male waiter, made it abundantly clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority at Cafe CAT.jpg. Our sense of being ignored and unimportant greatly overshadowed any potential enjoyment we could have derived from the cafe's atmosphere or offerings.

Regrettably, this experience has left a lasting impression, and I find it difficult to recommend this cafe to anyone seeking a pleasant and welcoming dining experience. Unless substantial improvements are made to the staff's approach to customer service, it appears that Cafe CAT.jpg may struggle to retain a loyal clientele.

In conclusion, the cafe's lack of attentiveness and customer care during our visit left an indelible mark, making it an establishment to be approached with caution, if at all. For those seeking a warm and inviting atmosphere, it would be wise to explore alternative dining options...

pretty spacious and bright, there’s one cat I’ve seen so far, slept at random corner and table ❤️ haha kids were amazed when it walked near them 😂 coffee were averagely priced and I’d say it’s pretty cheap given the big volume. they have light sandwiches with affordable prices. I think the portion deserve it as compared to other local breakfasts or fancy brunches. I ordered chicken sub-sanwich and inside were layers and layers of fresh veges and tomatoes and thick juicy flesh, very nutritious and yummy and fueled me with energy to work whole (half) day at the cafe ❤️

the seats may or may not be that comfortable depending on available areas. I visited by 10am and it’s nearly full with a few corner bar seats left. it’s usually quiet and customers’ conversation can still be heard, but not that irritating. most of them were studying hard quietly.

if you insist... the seats are “free” and there might be customers who “forgot” their belongings across the areas 😂 uhm well, I didn’t ask the owner because that guy did noticed the inconvenience caused after several ringings and notifications and, peace.

overall a nice place for study and work alone. you can refill water (not coffee) which is located at the corner outside the washroom haha.

oh, and the place has only one washroom. clean! and the only one 😂 so please be nice because you have no second washroom when it’s...

Adorable little cafe with very cheap prices for the area. Depending on the time of day, it can get pretty crowded with limited seating but it seems like the morning usually has a spot. The cafe also has a orange tabby who loves to lounge about on all surfaces. Strawberry smoothie: $70

I have yet to try anything other than the smoothies or milk tea but sandwiches look decent and customers seem satisfied by them. People even come here just for take away.

P.S. I think people who are mad about the number of students here studying are perhaps unaware of how little money students have.

Edit: I just tried the veggie and egg sub sandwich and it was quite good. The egg was scrambled and scrambled very VERY well. I actually wish they would teach me how to scramble such...
