Stopped by here for lunch as it started pouring rain and it was the closest place nearby.
The service was good and the food was not bad. I might have been a little disappointed because I actually ordered a rice dish as opposed to noodles which, the place is called "Dong Ding Beef Noodle Restaurant." what was I thinking? The rice dish was basically smothered in a brown sauce with vegetables and beef scattered around a big scoop of rice. I didn't think to take a photo at the time but it was interesting to see. As I said, it was good but nothing too special. I should mention though that the beef was petty tasty. They also have complimentary cold sweetened tea that you can go get yourself at the front of the restaurant. That was definitely a nice touch.
If you decide to stop by here, I imagine that their noodle soup would be fairly delicious if they use the same beef in my rice dish. I'm petty sure I would have had a better experience ordering noodles but I just wasn't in the mood for it at the time unfortunately. I would give the dish I had 3-stars but because it really is a noodle place, I am giving 4-stars for the tasty beef...
Read more3/5 for the beef noodle alone, but 4.5/5 for everything else. broth is very light and beef is not tender enough, could be they don't cook it long enough. noodle is good tho. and overall wide variety of side dishes, great black tea to enjoy in a clean, well lit, ventilated place....
