Good food but mildly overpriced. The reason I won't go back though is that the owner has a highly overinflated opinion of her product. My girlfriend is gluten intolerant so she asked if she could order the tacos, but just have the content without the actual taco, and was told no because it spoils the integrity of the product. When she asked for a falafel salad but with a little pulled pork on the side, and offered to pay extra, she was declined again for the same reason. She was then told that they are out of falafel and they would put some chick peas on the salad instead. Sure enough it came with a spattering of what we thought were canned chick peas, a poor substitute for the falafel. The owner however failed to see this as spoiling the integrity of her product. 2nd time at Lazy Tree. 1st time at the new location. The new location is very chic and aesthetically pleasing. Great for social media posts. Food-wise we got a pulled pork tortilla kit (4 pieces) and a Mac n Cheese with Korean spicy chicken. For drinks, we ordered a kombucha mojito and a dragon fruit yogurt smoothie. Dessert was a baked chocolate chip cookie topped with melted marshmallows. Highlights were the chocolate chip cookie and kombucha. The tacos/tortillas didn't have sauce/salsa (lighter flavor). The mac and cheese taste was a bit overpowered by the Korean spicy sauce. I'd probably order the classic mac and cheese next time. Wow! This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in Taiwan!! First, absolutely fantastic food, we got the middle eastern salad, çilbir, hummus and chocolate cookie. Literally everything was a 10/10, even the tea was amazing haha. There's lots of vegetarian options too, we had such a hard time deciding what to get :p. Second, the service was amazing, the boss speaks perfect English and helped us with recommendations, and everyone working was so attentive and kind.
