立歐廚房 Leoś cafe — Restaurant in Yilan City

This is a type of place that locals will love. Fresh food, handmade and lot of familiar Taiwan taste. The environment is very comfortable right by the park, nice relief from the city. For foreigners or people that lived outside of Taiwan for long time, the taste comes a bit surprise. Bagel is very soft and the texture in the mouth is a bit like after you microwave the bagel next day. Salad is plain. French toast looks great but they serve it with honey instead of maple syrup, another thing that we find hard to adjust. Homemade yogurt is good in watery side which is very different texture than expected. Overall I think they did the good job on food, it’s just not meeting our expectation as our taste are...

Very cute and simple coffee shop / brunch spot that sells cute products as well! It opens relatively early compared to other coffee / brunch spots. They serve food but I only got a latte. The owner made me the latte, and gave me two little cookies that he baked himself (and sells)! It was delicious and only $100 NT. I thought it was solid value, especially since this place has AC and free wifi. I plan to come back, and highly recommend this place to others. The food was just ok. This isn’t the kind of western brunch you might be expecting, it’s more suited to a Taiwanese style.
