久千代海鮮百匯餐廳 — Restaurant in Yilan City

We were there on April 6, 2024. This place ruined my Taiwan vacation. Mom and I got food poisoning hours after having dinner there.The place was like grand central station, so crowded, too many people, most not wearing masks. Most of the hot food was not hot, I didn’t even dare to try the cold dishes. It’s a buffet restaurants but some better dishes only had one tray then it changed to lesser quality food. Some food were made to order but never showed up. The seafood was not fresh. The sanitation was not up to par, they obviously didn’t have enough helpers. It was a hot mess. Our driver recommeded this seafood buffet and we really enjoyed ourselves. Tons of options that kept rotating every time we got up to check the station.

To special order dishes, just bring a clothespin with your table number to the food area and clip it above the desired fish or dish, and they will deliver when ready.

Lots of drink and dessert options and even the fruit rotates every batch that's cut.

The Jiu Qianndai buffet was really good. We were taken there when visiting local family. The seafood was extremely fresh, though I find the cuts off sashimi to not quite be up to California standards. The non seafood options were also very good. They have an interesting method of ordering where you clip a clothes pin to a sample of what you want and they bring the fresh dish out to your table shortly. The place did get very busy and some of the clientele were aggressive. The workers also seemed harried and not very friendly. Overall good food...
