20200523: the braised pork belly rice (TWD 40) was ridiculously fatty, with oil oozing everywhere. there was a good amount of salted/preserved vegetable but it had soaked up quite a bit of oil. over easy eggs (TWD 10) each are always nice.
in order to enjoy this dish, one must really love the taste and texture of rendered lard. that said, the lard did not impart any unwelcome aroma or taste and the dish is one of the better executed ones.
