This place honestly doesn't even deserve one star. We went here for a nice anniversary meal and left annoyed and hungry. They insist on viewing the menu through a QR code. But the Internet is bad so you have to connect on their Internet. The menu listings are tiny and you have zoom in to see what to order. Then you can't even order this way. So basically its the waitress waiting as you zoom in and say an order, zoom out and find the next item. She didn't bri g a notepad so we had to do this two times. It actually hurt my eyes.
Tried to order wine and was told three different times we don't have that bottle. Surely the staff should know what's available?
Ordered a cheese tomato pizza. The 'chef' (and I really really use that word lightly) threw about 25 whole cherry tomatoes on top. Not even cut in half. In no way were the tomatoes in the pizza so you pick up a slice and about 6 tomatoes fall off. Pizza was limp, way too garlicky and had processed cheese.
Ordered a bacon dish , it had about 4 tiny slivers of bacon on it and a lot of uncooked Brussel sprouts. I asked the waitress to try and cut one of the sprouts so they could see how firm and uncooked they were but she giggled and said 'sorry'
Another dish we ordered was tiny, flavourless and uncooked.
Literally the only good thing on the menu was the French fries. No-one can mess up deep fried fries so this shouldn't even be counted as an achievement.
When we asked to speak to a manager I got a lot of giggles with sorry sorry sorry.
Not good enough. I ended up getting a banana and a tea egg from 7/11 to fill myself up. The banana and tea egg? 10 out of 10.
To call yourself a Spanish restaurant or a fine dining place is an insult. The mcdonalds across the road is more Spanish than this place. It was literally THAT disappointing that I can't even walk past the restaurant now without feeling annoyed.
Do everyone a favour and close down. The worst restaurant. And it's no surprise that it's owned by the zebra group-another over priced and under seasoned place. I beg of the people reading this ...do yourself a favor and go to...
Read moreFood was really disappointing. Pale imitation of Spanish tapas. No paper menu, so waitress had to mess around with my phone multiple times. We ordered a bottle of wine, didn't have it. We ordered another bottle of wine, didn't have that one either. One of the more expensive bottles were suggested as an alternative. Not a great start, then the food came.
Chef didn't even bother chopping tomatoes on the pizza, one of the most disappointing pizzas I've ever had my life. Bland and tasteless. Raw, unseasoned Brussel sprouts, in what tasted like store bought sauce, with a few tiny pieces of meat thrown in. Ridiculously over priced for something a child could make. We didn't even finish the food.
I don't understand any of these 5 star reviews. The food was utterly appalling and anyone who believes this place is 5 stars has absolutely no idea what Spanish food is supposed to taste like.
If you want to visit a place to take nice pictures, go for it. If you want a place to enjoy a nice dining experience then I highly recommend going literally anywhere else. Another perfect example of a place that only cares about appearance and not...
Read moreThis is one of my parents' favorite places, and we go almost every time I'm visiting in Taiwan. My favorite thing there is the shrimp in olive oil and garlic (I'm sure there is a fancier name for it) - which comes with perfectly toasted French bread and it's all glorious. We also got the pork chop which is very good. I wasn't the hugest fan of the crab frittata, but my mom loves it. Also, the best...
