Golden Coast Shrimp Restaurant — Restaurant in Zhubei City

I have gone to this restaurant for the past 20* years. Went there on the opening day and the rest is history. All of their shrimp dishes are excellent, if you like shrimp and don’t mind peeling them. It is an open restaurant so it is a little chilly. The chairs (stools) are made from bamboo, so if you have weak knees then is challenging. The restaurant has been there for many years, so that may not be a problem. Lemon shrimps seems to be the favorite, but garlic shrimps, pepper shrimps, sesame oil shrimps spicy escargot are all must try dishes. Their veggie dishes are excellent. Great shrimp 🦐 place! At first I was a little surprised by the prices as they were a little higher than I expected from similar shrimp places but once the order came I understood the higher price. The shrimp are huge and they serve quite a lot. They also offer free rice. We tried the classic pepper shrimp and my personal favorite, the lemon shrimp. The space was nicely decorated and the staff friendly. The only downside is they didn't have the Taiwan 18 days beer, which in my opinion is a must to go with pepper shrimp 🥲. Very unique Shrimp restaurant.

They have side dished (some stir vegetable) Mainly serve different types of Shrimp. For example, Pepper,Salt,Sesame and Shrimp soup. Rather than shrimp they have Pepper crab (Crab is different with Singapore/Malay Crab), Pork Rib. Rice is free. Some dishes and Chopstick, Tissues, cups need to get it your self. Price is a bit high. One Shrimp dish has about 1213 Shrimp, cost is NTD650700. Crab is about NTD 1,200. But you must try hear. Very taste, you may wanna go again...
