Piccola Enoteca — Restaurant in Zhubei City

Una perla. I am Italian and am usually very skeptic about Italian restaurants outside of Italy. Came to this restaurant with a colleague that suggested it, I was blown away. Not only Pietro the host that served us spoke a nearly perfect Italian but the dishes were truly well made, simple and with high quality ingredients (that's what the Italian cuisine stands for). I had an amazing (I really mean it) "Focaccia Pugliese", I swear it's really difficult to find one that good in northern Italy. The pasta was "al dente" and very savory, good portions I left feeling very full with the antipasto and first dish.

I was introduced to this restaurant by an Italian friend. I’ve dined at Piccola Enoteca several times now and have always had a wonderful experience. The food is well seasoned and delicious, the service is warm and attentive, the dishes are beautifully plated, and the decor is very nice. The service staff take the time to explain the dishes and help with recommendations. They serve up very tasty Italian cuisine. 2015 Pretty good except for carbonara. Can improve on soup portion. 2019 can skip the egg fry, technique is not as to the point as before. with the gamboro rosso, the expectation was not met. however the service is great 2021 horrible amatriciana should anyone who'd tried the Italian guanciale would be dismayed by the tasteless meat. service also degraded. full service restaurant with only online menu for customers to read on own cell phones, reservation requests were totally ignored. can't see how it's worth the two shrimps. sad to see yet another goto restaurant gain popularity only to...
