This is a great little spot! The decor and art are very charming and the staff are friendly and helpful.

We had a French press and a cappuccino and both were great. They use locally sourced coffee beans and provisions. There is a nice food menu if you are hungry.

The indoor and outdoor seating areas are comfortable and the entryway courtyard is especially lovely with lush plants framing the area. The restrooms are also clean and well tended.

I went here a few times while working in Karatu. It's a really solid place. Good atmosphere, nice staff, and decent wifi (one of the only places with public wifi in Karatu). It's a good place to relax in town and they have plenty of seating and places to either hang out with friends or plug in and get some work done. Would recommend the french press coffee and the SAMBUSAS. They're always fresh and they serve them with this interesting chutney stuff.. It's...

This café in Katatu stands out. You can get cappuccino, french pressed coffee, cakes and also buy souvenirs such as honey, chocolates and other handmade items. They also offer food, either to eat at the café or to take away. If you want something stronger you can also get whiskey or other spirits. The staff was very friendly. What some tourists might appreciate the most is that the toilets...

Had lunch at Lilac Cafe , and it was awesome! The rice with beef was so good—flavourful, tender, and just the right portion. The cafe itself has a cosy, laid-back atmosphere that makes the meal even better. It’s definitely a place I’d go back to for a chill lunch once I return to Karatu
