An absolutely fantastic restaurant.

Had pulled pork tacos (19,000 TShs), a pulled pork burrito (20,000 TShs), mojitos (13,000 TShs each), and empanadas (16,000 TShs).

Everything was delicious. The best value-for-money item on that list was the burrito. So if you have a large appetite, I suggest going for that. The other items are fine. The empanadas are woefully small, so best avoided.

Drinks are strong. Glad to see a place that doesn’t water down their cocktails. 👍

Service was polite, conversational, and super attentive. The waiters will repeat your order to make sure it’s done right and all our requests (such as including a fried egg in the burrito) were followed to a tee.

The location is nicely tucked away in Masaki. There’s a bar, patio, and indoor space with plenty of seating options that are fine whether you’re alone or in a large group. And whether you wanna visit there to hang out like a café or go out for dinner with friends or a date.

The space is absolutely beautifully decorated, very spacious, and adequately cooled even on a hot day. You will be super comfortable here.

SOOOO HORRIBLE! I CAN'T STOP FUMING AS I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW. 0 STRAS!

We organized to meet up for my little sister birthday at AMIGOS at 18 Mkwawa road oysterbay.

We ordered starters, cocktails, some people were Muslim and only drunk mocktails. Some of us arrived late so we didn't want to eat, just drunk..etc

They were singing happy birthday to like 3 other people..we decided to order a small cake so that they can sing for my little sister as well.

The waitress looked at us and said no, they could not. Apparently, their manager told them not to sing for our table because we did not eat enough. How much did they want us to spend..at least 70,000ths person! Whaaaaat!

The manager didn't even bother speak to us when we wanted some answers. We just got rude responses!

I have never ever written a bad review as I understand the difficulty of running a business. BUT THEY NEED A NEW MANAGER.

#badservice #poorcustomercare #terribleexperience #nevergoingback #newmanager...

Worst service! And worst manager by the name LINDA. Racist. Forced to take our money. NOT RETURNING TO AMIGOS. She was forcing to keep our TZS 200k deposit on grounds that our entire group didn’t turn up. This was after we told them to remove the tables and plus the restaurant was mostly empty so definitely no shortage of tables. But Linda the manager insisted that she wants to keep the deposit. After pushing back she yelled at us and left. Our entire group was astonished by the extreme rudeness and disrespect. We left there knowing that the only reason she could talk to us that way was due to lack of training, and the fact that we were black. Owner if you are reading this please take note of your staff. Very very poor service , rudeness at a different level AND THEFT ATTEMPT. We are definitely...

Wonderful place, good food, went with my friends and we all loved the place. Me being a vegetarian they had many vegi options, ordered a vegi Burrito and it was huge in size. They also serve liquor and and there is a huge range. Prices are towards the higher end but I wouldn't say it's too much coz of the great experience you get. We were served by a nice and kind waitress girl called Maria and she was so helpful, also the manager came and check whether everything is OK. Parking available for about 20 cars. Seating is available in inside as well as an open space. Cool lighting arrangements which makes the environment ambience so attractive, also played a great combination of 90s and 2000s English and Spanish music. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Refreshing Drinks and Cocktails You can expect a variety of drinks, including local Tanzanian beers like Kilimanjaro or Safari Lager, fresh fruit juices, and cocktails like mojitos or caipirinhas, perfect for the beach setting. Live Music and Entertainment Some Amigos venues in Tanzania may offer live music, often featuring local bands or DJs playing a mix of reggae, Afrobeat, or even traditional Swahili music. This adds to the energetic yet relaxed environment Chilled and Social Vibe The atmosphere is often casual and welcoming, with both locals and tourists mingling. It’s a place to unwind, have a drink, and enjoy good conversation with friends or meet new people.
