Kaffé Koffee Oysterbay — Restaurant in Dar es-Salaam

WONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Not worth a visit, I posted my review of their café latte and the so called frozen cake with cream in a cup and got no feedback from the owner on trip advisor. So I will post here. Having visited this place 4 times and n the last 6 months with 4 other people and also purchasing their takeaways. I ordered a café latte, I never got it , instead all I got was cold coffee with milk without the standard three layers that make it a café latte,The second time I came there I bought they’re frozen cake in a cup. It was 18,000/ there was just cream ! No cake at all! The third time being on a date who i brought with me since he’d asked me where he could get fresh coffee beans, ended up purchasing takeaway of one one of the cakes( cheese cake ) much to my disappointment was tiny the size of 2 fingeres. We settled at the next café ( peacock café) and found their cheese cake the lotus amazing and hence We took our business to the said café. Kaffe koffee is. Not worth its prices. One must provide adequate service quality standards for the price value. I feel disappointed having previously recommended this place to so many . Four of us - 3 vegetarians and 1 non- went to Kaffe Koffee for a light lunch on Saturday 16/5/21. The waitress was cheery and helpful and arranged a table for us under the shade as it was very hot. Although The menu had very little choice on the savoury side for vegetarians, We ordered 2 vegetarian sandwiches. There was nothing available from the non veg menu. After a while waitress returned and told us that the veg sandwiches were also not available. We asked her to call the manager. About 10 minutes later, a guy(apparently the manager) appeared but couldn’t really answer why , if the cafe was a 24/7 cafe, some food from the menu was not available. We left, very very disappointed, as that was our FIRST visit to Kaffe Koffee and were really looking forward to having lunch there, followed by their delicious looking pastries. I was drinking every working day 2 coffee there, for last 18 months. Coffee is fine, sometimes standard not the same, but quality always good. So I would come with colleagues and we would sit there and chat with 2 coffees, each, However, new stuff are there, 2 woman. So last Thursday they changed 60,000TZS for 2 cappuccinos and 5 americano coffees, instead 37,000. After complaining, they were still arrogant and charged 47,000 . They refused to give receipt. Am never going back there. And next time I will take photo of 2 females and post so you see!
