Hashtag Cafe — Restaurant in Tanga

I was in Tanga City for nearly a week. Most of the days I visited Hashtag Cafe for lunch. The cafe is clean, hygienic, comfortable and has all the globally preferred cafe options for lunch - ranging from smoothies, frappes, paninis, wraps, burgers, sandwiches, salads and pizzas. There were plenty of options for vegetarians and I tried most of them. The taste and presentation was great! I wish all the best to this newly opened cafe and look forward to visiting more when I am next...

📍Great place to hang out with friends and family while you are in Tanga. Located in the city easy accessibility with plenty of space to sit inside and outside. Beautiful clean ambience with good decor. 🧋 We only had drinks and it was yummy. We had oreo and espresso milkshake. 💰 Prices are high compared to other cafes. 👩‍🍳 Service was slow if they have a crowd they need extra hands. But was pleased to see the owners were helping out with serving as well.

We requested 4 scoops of ice cream for one person , instead of the waitress explaining their dish is not big enough for 4 scoops - she abruptly said NO! you can only have 3. I requested orange and pineapple juice it was horrible, watery , not tasty , I requested for another one which was slightly better but not recommended. It’s a Shame had high hopes. Please train your staff to serve better and improve your juice quality and you took too long to deliver...
