Hunter’s Garden & Restaurant — Restaurant in Bang Chak Subdistrict

Sunday night so had headed out for a couple of beers. Solo singer not bad. Had the Beef Burger and fries - it was filling with fresh salad and a real beef pattie. It was busy with mostly regulars and they seemed a bit understaffed but otherwise all good. Had a good vibe so probably will get back here. Highly recommended! Friday nights are great with terrific music from Dom & Aoffy. Is there nothing they can't sing ? Awesome singers. Beef burger was short of it's normal high standard (this is what happens when the Boss is away) but still a great place to visit. Quite busy too. Another Friday night at Hunters. Beer and Pizza and Dom & Aoffy awesome as ever. Back again for the Salami Pizza and some beers. Always a great place so come down as you won't be disappointed. Also great for birthdays! Another awesome Friday night at Hunters it doesn't get better than this. You won't be disappointed. Great atmosphere; Great music; Good Service and good value for food and drinks. Hard to beat. Seriously get yourself down here. Back again can't resist the awesome Chicken Parmigianas and the good service. Beef Lasagna is very good and filling. Arrived at 5 - out of lamb no problem - expecting a giant Yorkshire pudding as in the pic, received a small dried piece that had been sitting. Giant one in pics is what I expected, small one is what I got. I have been to about 10 different Sundays roasts in the last few months and had high expectations based on it. Was still hungry and wanted try out the breakfast and they said they stopped at 5 which is strange for must pubs here in Thailand. Ordered cherry pie and and of course out of that as well. Beef was tender and mash tasty though. Apple crumble Is solid. Might give it another chance but I am turned off by the amount of no’s I have heard today. Never had this issue at ANY of the other Sunday places I’ve gone to. Most places are usually happy that I am ordering all that food

Sat outside so no AC which is ok but wasn’t even asked if I wanted a fan. Fan right in front of me pointed at another table. After the food was served, waitress never checked in and had to flag her down to order more. Again never had this problem at other Sunday...

Mostly good but the food quality is not particularly consistent. Fried breakfast at times with sausages cooked on only one side, fish and chips at times with over cooked / burnt uneven sided French fries, menu often runs out if they were busy the night before. When it’s good it’s good, when it’s not it’s not very good at all. I couldn’t really recommend any of the dishes as it very much depends on who cooks it!

I’ve also had terrible experiences with the draught beers at times too, sour taste that’s either down to dirty pipes or a bad barrel, but happened numerous times so it wasn’t a one off. Got so bad we stopped ordering draught beer. Seems to have been sorted now though.

Garden is pleasant enough, the live music I can take it or leave it. You do occasionally get the signature Thailand raw sewage smell from the drains in the garden which has caused us to leave a few times.
