Udomsuk Market — Local services in Bang Na Nuea Subdistrict

This is a regular market, not necessarily a night market, although it does a brisk business during rush hours as it is steps from the Udomsuk BTS station, the bus stop, and the taxi stand. (Moto taxis are also available) This area has been my base, when I'm in the Big Mango, having spent about 4 months spread over 3 years lodging nearby. I'm a walker. I know the area intimately. There are lots of small restaurants, and are many choices for fresh fruit, veg, fish, seafood, and meats in this market, as well as many general merchandise stores. The sidewalks and Udomsuk Rd itself, from Sukhumvit for several kilometers, has been resurfaced. Sidewalks that were formerly pack with street vendors are now much reduced. เมื่อวาน30/6/67 ไปซื้อตำลึง 2 กำ กำละ 20 ลุงคนหนึ่ง พูดจาไม่เพราะ แถมไม่มีเงินทอนด้วย พอเอากลับมาบ้าน ด้านในมีแต่ตำลึงตัวผู้ทั้งนั้นเลยจ้า จะจำไว้นะต่อไปจะไม่ซื้อร้านลุงอีก ค้าขายอยู่ประจำตรงนี้ ส่วนผักบุ้งซื้ออีกร้านแช่ตู้เย็นคืนเดียวเหลืองเลย พ่อค้าแม่ค้าส่วนใหญ่ เขาก็ซื่อสัตย์กับลูกค้ากันจะได้ทำมาหากินได้นานๆ
