ริมทาง สตอรี่ (rimtang story) — Restaurant in Bang Khun Kong Subdistrict Administrative Organization

There are just so many lovely spots along the canals outskirts of Bangkok if you look for them. This is a rustic café restaurant just off Rama 5. Newly opened somewhen in the middle of this year, “Rim Klong” translated means “side of a canal”. It is a rustic wooden house turned eatery. The water was high this November, which made it a perfect floating lantern launch site during Loy Krathong. And yes, we made reservations during the festival to be here and did out lantern thing. They make really good restaurant quality food and the menu is varied. They are very proud of their home-made pastries. I can assure you, they are yummy, I had one of their cheesecakes. There is a house jetty and you will be welcome to row the canoes moored to the pillars. Life jackets are available incase canoe overturn by big catfish accident. The staffs here are all very friendly. Most times we were here on weekdays and we had the whole place to ourselves. We can choose to sit indoors basked amongst nostalgic items of era past, or out-door listening to passing boats with the mosquitoes (yeah…. do bring insect repellent). They also have a cabin with a long table for larger groups. We had been here several times for both lunch and dinner, because we love the food and the charming...

This is a great experience of taking lunch along the small river n wooden old house... Gave every customer the feel of vintage river house..can even see customer take their boat to the restaurant for lunch.... I believe the young gen will never experience it...

Restaurant is not big n very limited seats available...unless just come for drinks n no food...They have sofa indoor n small coffee tables...

Food taste delicious 😋.. Price is reasonable n affordable... Service is slow... limited staff that is available...

Just great place to bring kids to experience ...

ร้านริมคลองสตอรี่ เป็นอีกร้านในซีรี่คลองอ้อมที่ผมชอบที่สุดอีกร้านเลยครับ ที่จอดรถกว้างพอควรจอดได้หลักสิบคัน ทางเข้าร้านพอเห็นแล้วอยากเดินไปที่ศาลาริมคลองก่อนแวะไปหาโต๊ะนั่งซะอีก ด้วยเพราะการจัดร้าน และบรรยากาศที่เชิญชวนอยากให้เดินเล่น โซนภายนอกของร้านส่วนที่ผมชอบที่สุดคือตรงโต๊ะริมคลองหน้าทางเข้าโซนภายใน เพราะเป็นทางลม ลมจะพัดโชย ๆ มาตลอด เย็นสบาย แล้วบอกเลยครับคลองอ้อมนี่ที่ผมติดใจคือคลองสะอาด ไม่มีขยะ ไม่มีกลิ่นเหม็นเลย ไม่พลุกพลานจนเกินไปจากเรือ เรือจะมาเป็นช่วง ๆ ทำให้บรรยากาศยิ่งมีสเน่ห์ยิ่งขึ้น ที่เด็ดที่สุดคือทางร้านสามารถให้พาน้องหมาน้องแมวเข้ามาได้ แต่ต้องดูแลน้องดีดีนะครับ และนั่งได้เฉพาะโซนภายนอก เจ้าของใจดีมาก ๆ คุยสุภาพ เป็นกันเอง แล้วก็จะพาสอบถามพูดคุยด้วยตัวเองเลยด้วย อ้อมีกิจกรรมพายเรือด้วยนะครับ หากอยากเล่นก็สอบถามทางเจ้าของก่อนได้เลย โซนภายใน จัดสวยงาม ตัวร้านมีลักษณะเป็นบ้านไม้ริมน้ำ การจัดร้านไปในทางเดียวกัน เปิดไฟส้ม ๆ เคล้าบรรยากาศ เปิดเพลงฟังสบาย ๆ ยิ่งนั่งยิ่งเพลินครับ อาหารที่นี่ถูกปาก อร่อยมาก ชอบหลาย ๆ เมนูเลยละ ว่าง ๆ อยากมาลองเมนูอื่น ๆ บ้างครับ ครั้งนีั้อิ่มจริง ๆ แมงกะพรุนน้ำมันงานี่เด็ดเผ็ด ๆ หน่อยกรุบ ๆๆ หากราดน้ำจิ้มซีฟู๊ดที่ให้มาจะยิ่งเพิ่มรสชาติ ที่นี่น้ำจิ้มซีฟู๊ดเด็ดครับไม่เหมือนทานที่อื่นที่จะเค็ม หวาน หรือรสแปลก ๆ ที่นี่เด็ดน้ำมะนาวแท้ถึง พริกถึง กลมกล่อมจริง หอยเชลล์ทอดซีอิ๊วผิวกรอบข้างในนิ่มละลายตอนทานเลยละรสหวาน ๆ ยิ่งตัดด้วยซีฟู๊ดนี่เด็ดเลย ไข่เจียวปูนี่ก็ไม่หยอกทานร้อน ๆ ปูเต็ม ๆ ชอบ ๆ ครับ กาแฟอร่อย ขนมอร่อย ไว้มาลองใหม่ ๆ หากลูกค้าเยอะรายการอาหารจะช้าสักนิดนะครับเป็นเรื่องปรกติ มาถึงก็สั่งไว้ก่อนเลยครับแล้วเดินเล่น นั่งชิว ๆ เล่นเพลิน ๆ ไปก่อน แนะนำเลยครับร้านนี้...
