We did not know how to order in Thai so we pointed to the pot. We got a nice big bowl of delicious porridge. The guy even taught me how to scoop it up so I get the cooler portion of the porridge so I don't burn my mouth. Just a warning though, the porridge uses i think can contain pork liver or stomach so be sure you are fine with eating those unless you can communicate to them that you don't want any in your bowl.
