Disappointed by Staff Attitude at After You – INT Rama 3

I’ve always enjoyed visiting After You, especially for the consistently high quality of their desserts. It’s a place I’ve often recommended to friends and family. However, I had a rather disappointing experience at the INT Rama 3 branch recently, which I feel compelled to share.

While I completely understand that company policy may not allow phone charging, I was genuinely taken aback by the rude and abrupt manner in which the staff responded to my simple inquiry. There was no courtesy, no explanation—just a dismissive and curt "No, cannot charge" delivered in a tone that was unnecessarily hostile and unwelcoming.

Good service isn’t just about what is or isn’t allowed—it’s about how things are communicated. A little politeness goes a long way, and unfortunately, the attitude I encountered made what should have been a relaxing dessert experience feel unnecessarily unpleasant.

I sincerely hope After You management will look into this and remind their staff that kindness and respect are just as important as the menu. Until then, I would caution other guests to manage expectations when it comes to customer service at this...

I normally come to this shop for having Hong Kong Babo or Hojicha Soy Latte from TMRW. In the afternoon, this drink is so nice that you can enjoy both jelly and tapioka ball (like pearl) when having milk tea which is made by soy milk & hojicha tea.
