We had an absolutely amazing evening at the Savoey! The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with generous portions that left us completely satisfied. The Extreme Crab Fried Rice lived up to its name—it was absolutely loaded with crab and had a unique, smoky, grilled flavor that was unforgettable.

The Crispy Boneless Duck was a work of art, served in the traditional way with a house-made hoisin sauce that was smooth, rich, and almost honey-like in its consistency. Paired with the delicate pancakes, crisp spring onions, and fresh cucumbers, every bite was pure indulgence.

And then there were the shrimp dishes! The Butter-Roasted Jumbo River Shrimp with Chimichurri were melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Finally, we ended the meal with the Grilled Prawns, expertly split and roasted to highlight their sweet, lobster-like flavor—an exquisite finale to a remarkable meal.

This restaurant is a true hidden gem, with over 50 years of history. While it’s a bit off the beaten path, it’s absolutely worth the journey.
