Sadly I had to delete/edit my first review and I cannot recommend the Bite Restaurant.
It is said that you can also prepare all dishes in vegan. Whether the food is actually vegan or not is a game of chance, possibly depending on the staff.
As I am dependent on a vegan diet due to a food intolerance and would otherwise have health problems (including severe stomach pains, digestive problems, etc.), I think it's a shame and also questionable that the dishes here are supposedly NOT vegan. For me, the symptoms are comparatively harmless if the food I order is not vegan, as has been repeatedly emphasized and requested, but someone with other allergies and symptoms may end up in hospital.
It is perfectly fine to be told that vegan preparation is not possible, but then to say "yes, vegan is possible" and not comply is not only very frustrating but also irresponsible.
In general, the food is okay, but it's not one of the best dishes in terms of taste. You can find much better restaurants with tastier dishes in Phuket.

The food here is delicious - and although it’s a bit more expensive than regular Thai it’s actually better than most cheap Thai restaurants which makes it well worth it… lots of places in Phuket sell Thai food at foreigner prices and it’s not that great. This place legit is worth it. Plus the foreigner food is really good too if you’re not in the mood for Thai… and it’s consistent - always good every time we come.
The Khao soi is one of my favorites and worth going just for that alone. Pineapple fried rice was awesome - we’ve also gotten chicken sandwiches, burgers, gyro plate, etc - all really good!
Highly highly...
Read moreAn excellent healthy option right near Chalong circle. The Nam Maprao (coconut water) was decidedly overpriced, but restaurants often make their money on the drinks. I was really pleasantly surprised that they have brown rice and when I asked for it after they brought a white rice out, they had no problem and immediately changed that. It’s actually really difficult to get brown rice at restaurants in Thailand, unless you order rice berries. It’s something that could be so easily changed for a huge nutritional and flavor dividends. Anyway, back to this restaurant. They do have brown rice and they made a fish version of that Kha Laprao that was fantastic. Friendly, polite and prompt service. Highly...
