DE KOKO HUT (PHUKET THAILAND) — Restaurant in Chalong

Last week, my family and I arrived in Phuket by plane in the evening. It was very late by the time we got to a nearby hotel, and we came out to find something to eat. We felt that this restaurant was very good, so we happily decided to dine here. The food was delicious, and we had a great time. My grandmother tried the local specialty dishes and was very satisfied. Unexpectedly, a heavy rain suddenly started during our meal. A staff member in the restaurant, I am very sorry that I do not know his name, perhaps because he worried about my grandmother walking in the rain, offered us three umbrellas and walked us back to the hotel. The rain was too heavy, and his clothes got completely soaked on the way to the hotel. It was really troublesome for him. To thank him, we later returned to this restaurant to dine again. Great food, weird experience. Ordered steak medium, it was completely raw in the middle so I asked if it could be cooked more and apologised for complaining. The waiter took the plate and said to wait 5 mins - it came back great, but the waiter was obviously very, very pissed off - though did put mosquito spray on the table. After finishing the meal he came to take my plate and said "I need the glass", but I hadn't finished the drink by then. I asked for the bill. The total was 660 - I put 1000 in the basket with the receipt, and got 320 back without a word. I had planned to leave a tip for being a picky customer, but got short changed instead. Absolutely love this place!! Been coming here over 5 years, each time I come back to the Soi and Koko’s it’s my go to Breakfast & Lunch spot after training. They make any special request I have, the food is always clean, healthy, and on point.

The selection continues to grow, the specials are great prices, the pizza is so damn good it reminds me of being back home in the states, and the pasta is so fantastic, along with their section of fighter meals. Again, they will cook to order and help you stay Keto, Paleo, or Vegan if your diet and training requires!!
