Na Rimtang Phuket — Restaurant in Chalong

This restaurant is simply magnificent. The venue itself is superbly presented with indoor and outdoor seating. Lovely timber dining areas with lots of flowers and plants with a lake in view. We sat outside to take full advantage. Every meal was magnificent in all the things you love about Thai food. Taste, texture and the right spice levels. We were totally blown away. My girlfriend is Thai and she was nodding her head with approval. So there you go this place is the real deal.

We ordered Deep fried Pork in fish sauce. Stir fried Broccoli with Prawns. Crispy roasted shrimp chilli paste With smoked shrimp and spices. Spicy coconut Crab in curry soup with thin noodles.

Along with drinks that were delicious and the overall price was reasonable (around 800 baht).

This place is near the big Buddha so include it before or after for a truly relaxing meal in traditional Thai style.

Food is funny. Tom Yum soup is too sweet. Green curry is too salty. Fried chicken is just only a big flour coating, and inside is uncooked flour and barely see a chicken.

I was totally upset with the service. The staff didn’t clear the table (after finishing all main dishes) when the desert came.

So the staff were like put the plate above the table waiting for me to help clearing other plates to making space for her.

With the price that well above the average, i was expecting better food quality. Service hmmm….i can help making a space on my table if staff doesn’t want to clear the plates. But common, give me tasty food please.
