CocoParadiso Phuket — Hotel in Chalong

I checked into this hotel/resort last night. I checked out this morning. The staff could barely communicate with me. Are they nice and polite, absolutely. I greatly appreciate them for trying. The establishment is surrounded by private homes. There is no scenery. It's a construction zone. It's far from the beach/water. I must say, I checked in Sunday night and I left this terrible place Monday morning. I just cut my looses also opposed to have to think about night have think about all the critters i hear jumping & crawling on the windows. Also, the bed while being large appeared to be two full sized mattresses with a topper on top of it. To add insult to injury the damn comforter didn't fit the bed. SMDH!!

There is no view to be considered. The person at the desk just now said this is a 3-star resort. I couldn't disagree more. 1 to 2-star at best. They offered me food last night. I got a papaya salad in a bag. Breakfast is from 7:30-9am. I'd encourage anyone, don't waste your money, and especially not your precious time staying here. There's an old saying that goes, "You get what you pay for." You're not getting much here...

Hotel is nice and quiet. Can only hear nature sounds from there (exotic birds, roosters, geese and ducks), but keep in mind it’s a bit far from everything. Staff is very helpful and they have good food at the hotel restaurant that is not expensive, really good value for money and health oriented. They have a nice yoga room on the terrace and they have 2 classes/day Monday to Friday. The AC was blowing straight in my bed so couldn’t sleep with it on and it gets really hot and humid, but can open the balcony door and windows and they have mosquito net. TV has Netflix, Amazon prime, YouTube etc, so you can login with your account and watch if you want. Internet works well. I didn’t like the shower gel and they were missing some stuff like slippers and toothpaste/toothbrush, but I had my own so I didn’t ask at the reception if...

Room is fine with a great veranda in a garden setting. Swimming Pool is is large and in front of the ground floor rooms. Service is excellent and the Thai staff are all very friendly and helpful. The location is near Other nice areas and not far from Central, My Front Yard, HomePro and MegaHome. Breakfast is not up to my expectations with chicken sausages instead of pork, and toast, butter and jam served on same plate as cooked breakfast. I tried a banana pancake and it was too thick with banana cooked within it. As a result of that the pancake is over dry and too thick. The Thai food is not much better and my chicken with cashew nuts came without any chilli or dried prik chi fa. My Thai family did not enjoy the food either with the kanon chin...
