The overall atmosphere and comfort of the hotel were nice, but I was left seriously disappointed with the safety and service quality due to several negative experiences.||First, while I was in the pool with my nephew and my wife was asleep in the room, I saw a staff member enter our room without permission, holding a phone in his hand. Having someone walk in while a guest is inside and resting is absolutely unacceptable in terms of both privacy and security. It is extremely unprofessional for staff to enter knowing that the room was occupied.||Another issue occurred with an item I left behind during my first stay. Although my contact information was on file, I was never informed. I only found out by chance. This lack of care in handling guests’ belongings damaged my trust in the hotel.||At check-out, I was given a food box that contained ants, which left a very poor impression regarding hygiene. In addition, the pool floor had sharp pieces that hurt our feet, causing redness on my nephew’s hands and feet. We did not face this issue in our first stay, but during the second one it was very uncomfortable.||Furthermore, the bathroom window faces a walkway, making it easy for someone outside to see in. Even from the building next door, the inside of the bathroom could be visible, which is a serious privacy concern. I had to cover the window with a bag and tape just to feel secure. This led to unsettling thoughts such as, “Did someone enter our room again at night? Were any photos taken without my knowledge?”||While the hotel looks appealing at first, there are serious shortcomings regarding safety, privacy, and hygiene. On a lovely trip around Asia and stayed in 5 star hotels with this one being the lowest rated/cheapest one we have been in and we have been asked to pay 1200 baht for damage to the sheets that I remember seeing in a previous comment on a review my partner saw and wondered what they could have done when the exact same thing has happened to me. Seems abit wild to me that we have stayed in 7 great hotels during our trip with this being the 8th one and being charged for sheets they can’t wash is crazy when we haven’t slept any differently than normal. After some time they charged me, few weeks later tried to charge me second time but luckily Revolut blocked it because scam alert.
