DANGER - STAY AWAY! If you value your health & finances, stay away from this restaurant!

FOOD: My wife and I ordered 4 dishes, including the wonderful looking (and expensive B799) Grilled River Prawn. When the River Prawn came out (within 3 minutes of ordering???) It was attracting flies more so than any of our other dishes. Also, the Prawn meat was so tough and dry, I had to wrestle with the shell to get the meat out. Also, the Prawn didn't taste right! Despite these red flag warnings, my wife and I continued to eat (apparent) outdated River Prawn. We both got seriously affected by FOOD POISINING later that night. Their outdated, re-heated River Prawn is to be avoided!!!

PAYMENT: When I went to pay for the meal, the invoiced amount was correct. However, when I went to pay by credit card, their credit card terminal didn’t show any charge amount. Like an idiot, I put my trust in this restaurant, and paid my bill (blindly) with my Australian credit card. When the receipt printed, it charged me in my foreign currency (AUD) with a 5% foreign currency fee mark up. They then demanded me to sign the receipt - 'where I acknowledge that I have been given the opportunity to pay in THB or AUD, and I have willingly chosen to pay in AUD'. I said to the Cashier that I wanted to pay in local (THB) currency. She then got a bit angry and said "YOU CAN ONLY PAY IN AUD" That is when I knew with certainty that there was something not right about this restaurant. I ended up reversing the transaction, and paid in cash! My Thai wife later heard the staff making disrespectful comments about me in Thai language.

Later that night, both my wife and I got seriously sick (vomiting and diarrhoea) from this restaurant...

The missus is celebrating her birthday and the princess suggested this outlet and here we are !!!

We would like to compliment that this is a proper dining outlet; with excellent service attitude, proper sitting arrangements and a huge variety of cuisine selection.

The missus loved seafood and we went ahead for a fiesta.

The Tom Som fish slices soup is excellent; soup is umami packed and fish slices are thick and fresh. The spices used are on point and it was appetising to begin with.

We have to give a huge shout out for this salad dish with a crab-roe dipping sauce. The sauce is just too heavenly to describe and it goes extremely well with the fresh vegetables offered.

The huge river prawns are succulent and we had no complaints at all.

The fermented mud crab is done specially on-point. Not too salty and not too raw; we have to really give it to their commitments on their effort to make the cuisine wholesome.

Nice local restaurant have a huge parking space. Located in the town area of chantaburi. ฉุย is one of the well know restaurant in the city.

This time we have try the oyster 🦪 super big size and fresh. Fried- egg with crab meat. This plate is full of crab meat :)) The crab curry, is great too. Not too spicy but thick in flavor:) The chili dish called lon pooo is very nice. This thing we come with tour group so we haven’t try a lot of plate that we thought it’s interesting. Will come back and try next time :))

By the way , the restaurant offer both indoor and outdoor space together with a playground which is great for family. They also have playground with aircon to offer. The restaurant has both aircon and non aircon area.

All in all , it a good place...
