Pretty chaotic if u go late but there's some order in the chaos 😅 worth the wait and the chaos. Food was very reasonably priced and really delicious. Came here because of Mark Weins (like many others) Tomyam soup - amazing, creamy and full of seafood flavour. Seafood was abundant and the ratio of ingredients to soup is insane. Not too spicy or sour, they have mushrooms and bamboo shoot inside. Crispy garlic fried prawn - must must must order. Huge river prawns that were so fresh and that garlic was beautiful. Perfectly cameralized without a hint of being burnt. Fried vegetables with crispy pork - can't go wrong with this. Was delicious. We also got crab omelette which was super fluffy!! A lot of oil tho 🤣 may not need to get crab ones because the crab didn't add a lot to the omelette. Spring rolls were nicely fried but nothing special. Quite a bit of pepper in them. Would recommend u come before 12 to secure your table (they start service around 1130). Be patient cuz uncle is handling 95% of the cooking. Service was really good for how...
Read moreIf you're in the mood for some amazing Thai cuisine, Raan Yaam Jae-Euang is the place to be. Here are some highlights from my recent visit:
Tom Yum Soup - This is an absolute must-try! The flavors are perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice and tanginess. It's an explosion of taste that you don't want to miss.
Crab Rice - Damn good is an understatement. The crab rice is packed with flavor and generously portioned with fresh, succulent crab meat. Every bite is a delight.
Asparagus Stir Fry - A delightful dish that pairs well with the other items. The asparagus is cooked to perfection, retaining its crunch while being infused with a savory sauce.
Pork Basil - Really good! The pork is tender and the basil adds a wonderful aroma and flavor that ties the dish together beautifully.
Additionally, the owners are incredibly nice people, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Their hospitality and warmth make you feel right at home.
Highly recommend Raan Yaam Jae-Euang for a delicious and...
Read moreLocated in a small alley close by the MRT station. I was really impressed by the taste, it gives me authentic thai food experience. The tom yum flavor was thick and flavorful. Surprised by the amount of shrimps inside, 6 shrimps for considerably cheap price is a lot.
Omelette was a star too. Fluffy and flavorful, not the bland type of dish. Spring rolls was my fave too. Crispy and delicious.
We went there during lunch hour so have to queue for some time. It took us around 20 mins to get our table. Add another 15 minutes until all of our food arrived. Please expect a longer time since the master chef is only 1 person. Dont come when you are really really hungry bc u’ll get cranky and losing the experience. The people who served us are actually really nice and treat us fairly from the start. Dont expect a cool, fancy and cozy place, this is a street food kinda experience. I did enjoy eating there after hours of shopping. Def worth...
