found this small italian restaurant by pure luck. Just like the name it brought us allegria from the start until the end. As a sicilian I was missing italian food and this one is a good one. Exceeded my expectations from the presentation, the warm welcoming by the owner Roberto who runs the place with his lovely wife made me feel like I was back home, it was beautiful! We had a parmigiana which brought me almost to tears just by how good it was, sicilian pinsa so big and delicious and pasta with meatballs( you can choose which type of pasta you'd like to have) I had fettuccine, The meatballs were so darn good and fresh, the fettuccine were al dente, the fresh basil topped everything and the olive oil... everything was an absolute delight. They have an italian wine selection which I suggest everyone should try, we got wine from puglia that we are eager to drink as soon as we get home! To top it all off the owner Roberto has a delightful character which lightens up the whole place and he makes his own limoncello which he kindly offered us and how delicious it was ! Everything about this experience was perfect to us and we left the place full and satisfied. To find such genuineness and quality is a miracle not many can make it happen so what else can I say? I found our regular place to eat at so see you soon and...
Read moreOne of the Top Italian Restaurant in Chiangmai where you feel like home . I do know the owner very well and have been his customers for years and every time when I’m there I feel like I just go back home and eat with my family . A special place to meet great people and hang out with local Italians as well as expatriate in Chiangmai . Food are just to die for I can’t tell you a lot as you must give a try by yourself . What’s great to order ? Gosh I want to order them all at the same time as one is better than the other , what I love the most ? Umm …. , all of them but my favorite ones are their Mortadella And salami Sandwiches with their homemade bread that comes with side salat and balsamic Glaze. Parmigiana is another must try item for sure and more . The place might get a bit crowded during 11:30 till 14:00 pm but for me the best time would be sometimes around 2 pm which it’ll be less crowded. The owner is mostly there ( Italian ) and he mainly greeds his customers . We simply and truly love this place . Oops I forgot to say price wise is so reasonable compared to other...
Read moreVery unrecommended for everyone with any values. Even though the food was great we had a terrible experience. We met the Italian owner and the Thai waitress at the beginning, they asked where we are from. At first we enjoyed because the food was good, then we got the check, we saw that we were charged with something we didn’t order. We tried to explain the problem to the waitress but she doesn’t speak English at all. She called the owner (who left by then) and explained something in Thai. The owner didn’t even talk to me just yelled at the phone that it’s “always the problem with you people” and started cursing me based on my race. When he finished yelling he hanged up the phone and wouldn’t talk to me again. Absolutely humiliating and truly for nothing. Even though the food is good I will never come back and I think that anyone who don’t want to give money to a racist man should go to...
