Saen Kham Terrace Restaurant — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

So if you're looking for a great place to eat that is very trendy but with traditional culture with an excellent atmosphere and ambiance but with affordable prices then look no further. Nestled in this neighborhood and surrounded by a swimming pool and rice fields with white elephant statues this restaurant delivers an excellent dining experience with great food and friendly hospitality. I visited this place recently for dinner with some close friends and we all loved it! The staff here waited on us quickly and we were sat at a table right away and they brought us drinks and took our orders. The food was served "family" style and it was brought out fresh and hot. I highly recommend this place if you are in Chiang Mai. Come a few minutes before sunset to get some great photos. 🙏...

We just finished the most amazing meal here. The atmosphere is clean and upscale. The dishes we ordered were delicious—we got the sea bass, rainbow trout with garlic, morning glory, another sautéed vegetable, the Northern Thai sausage, barbecue pork, and a noodle dish. Everything was served with care and professionalism by our lovely server. They have organic brown rice which was cooked to perfection (so many restaurants don’t know how to properly cook rice), and the mango and sticky rice was not only yummy it was presented beautifully. Our group of 7 tried this place for early dinner because several were living in that area, about 20 minutes from city. Ambiance - compared to last visit several years earlier, the restaurant has been well maintained, and seems to have increased in popularity. We were surprised to see large groups already eating when we arrive at 6.30pm...but that's typical of Thais, most like to eat early. Quality of food was still good, authentically Thai & spicy, not watered down for tourists, because the clientele is mainly local. Service was as good as could be expected when competing with 2 large groups. Pricing was above average for Thai food, but that's how the place wants to...
